Stunning one of a kind Uranium crystal flower ring.

This ring was a prototype of ours and is a one of a kind design.
It has been lovingly hand crafted using green Uranium glass teardrop crystals with a central cadmium stone.
The sides of the shank are embedded with yellow crystals.

There is some paint loss to the sides but this does not attract from the beauty of this piece.

The green crystals are genuine vintage stones and glow intensely under a UV light.

The Uranium crystal used in this piece of jewellery are 'new, old stock' genuine vintage crystals.

About Uranium Glass -

Uranium glass / crystals glow a vibrant, bright green under a blacklight / UV light.
Uranium, usually in Oxide Diuranate form was added to a glass mix before melting to result in a beautiful green colour. Naturally Uranium glass in direct sunlight will give of a fluorescent green colour and due to it's glowing properties under UV light Uranium glass has become highly collectible today.
Uranium can be found in green glass, yellow glass and even white and blue glass although the majority is green.
