About Uranium Glass -

Uranium glass / crystals glow a vibrant, bright green under a blacklight / UV light.
Uranium, usually in Oxide Diuranate form was added to a glass mix before melting to result in a beautiful green colour. Naturally Uranium glass in direct sunlight will give of a fluorescent green colour and due to it's glowing properties under UV light Uranium glass has become highly collectible today.
Uranium can be found in green glass, yellow glass and even white and blue glass although the majority is green.

Some jewellery pieces you will see in my shop are original vintage Uranium items (these have been left exactly as they were originally produced). Other vintage pieces may have had some alterations or slight tweaks and some pieces have been completely handmade by myself using a beautiful array of vintage Uranium glass beads.
