Stunning yellow and lime green Uranium glass crystal bead drop earrings.

These gorgeous earrings are made using vintage Czech glass beads in a yellow, lime and teal colours with gold plated accent beads.

Finished with gold plated ear hooks.

The beads glow super bright under UV light suggesting the presence of Uranium.

About Uranium Glass -

Uranium glass / crystals glow a vibrant, bright green under a blacklight / UV light.
Uranium, usually in Oxide Diuranate form was added to a glass mix before melting to result in a beautiful green colour. Naturally Uranium glass in direct sunlight will give of a fluorescent green colour and due to it's glowing properties under UV light Uranium glass has become highly collectible today.
Uranium can be found in green glass, yellow glass and even white and blue glass although the majority is green.
